Thought it would be a good idea to publish a page containing links to the following videos that we produced between 2012 and 2014 explaining the core reasoning surrounding the statistics we used to offer on our edbain.com website because these are the very data points that took our Version 1 module from an on average overall hit rate of 48 to 52.5% to a 71.5% in the money hit rate when releasing Version 2 and explains the reason for Ed’s and my confidence in Zen’s success.
Also think these an excellent reference that could greatly assist in gaining insight to most of the things you are seeing in the bottom half of the module each day.
Beginning with the Spike Play because this is identified by the ! mark that you sometimes see next to a trainers statistic. This video would be a good one to watch all the way through cause it essentially applies to the ! mark (spike) within each of the 4-race form cycles of Layoffs, Claims, Debuts and Won Last Race:
Everything Ed mentions we have in our App and what we don’t have yet included, as an example speed, will be added in future versions. The last video discusses a direct data feed that we once offered for a monthly subscription. Though we no longer offer this product, I’ve included the video because this covers what we mean by data feed and what my other company equistats provides Zen from our database and is the foundation to our programs existence.
Everything you see presented in these videos were built for Ed at his direction by our head developer Joel and have to share the most amazing part of all and that is Joel developed all this without writing anything, not a single word or diagram down and he nailed it right from the start!
